TONY BONNICI

Say HELLO to the SKIPPER

Ever since his early childhood on the island of Malta, Tony has loved being nearon, or in the water. He spent most of his life in the Muskoka and Kawartha Lakes regions of southern Ontario: swimming, boating, waterskiing, windsurfing, and sailing (a 16' cat).

He also worked for a living... a decade as a Marine Cartographer with the Canadian Hydrographic Service, and later as a Fleming College Prof, specializing in GIS and mapping for 20 years.

Tony moved to the west coast in 2006 to sail a bigger boat, and also became a scuba diver, downhill skier, drone pilot, kite boarder, and efoiler. He also served as a crew member of the local Marine Search & Rescue, and as a substitute Skipper on the Gibsons Harbour Ferry.

Tony is a TransportCanada-certified sailor/navigator. He has sailed over 12,000 nautical miles (22,000 kilometres) on the west coast, visiting beautiful places all over Georgia Strait, from Victoria in the south, thru the Gulf Islands and Nanaimo, to his "second home" in Vancouver, everywhere in Howe Sound including Squamish,
all along the Sunshine Coast, and up to Desolation Sound in the north.

The Skipper has taken well over a thousand people sailing on BC's west coast... and he would love to take you sailing as well !

...and FIRST MATE

Vicki has been Tony's first mate (or is it the other way around?) for over 40 years. Although you won't likely see her on the boat, Vicki is the brains behind the business, and also takes care of provisioning.
